Wooden Potty Chairs have made a comeback! The once plain, humble, unpainted wooden potty-chair (often part of the overall design of wooden high chairs) of the fifties was replaced by plastic. Plastic potties in hundreds of styles, plastic seats that could fit over an adult toilet complete with plastic stool to climb up onto, they were (and still are) available in a myriad of shapes and colors. Now in a new world where we are trying to utilize less and less plastic which stains and eventually finds its way onto garbage heaps after being tossed takes many eons to bio-degrade if at all, and we find that once again the wooden chair is back replacing everything that formerly graced the thrones of our toddlers.
There are so many different kinds of wooden training chairs available on the market today that any parent will find it almost impossible to make a choice and will in all likelihood want to choose more than one. One each to keep at each set of grandparents homes and one to fit the decor of their toddlers nursery theme, for home. Lets take a few of them:

Handcrafted and hand-painted they can be ordered with personalized themes of rainbows, bunnies, whatever suits the fancy of your child or catches your eye. Believe it or not, some of these chairs can serve as a rocker as well. So there you have it. Imagine your little darling sitting rocking his time away reading a copy of the latest Potty Training Magazine and thereafter using the toilet roll to wipe his own bottom and see to his own needs. That is basically the idea, to keep your toddler there for as long as possible, certainly as long as it takes to do the deed.
Parents are opting to take soft cushioned seated potty covers along with them when they go traveling or shopping. This way the toddler feels safe and sits on a hygienic seat at any public toilet facility. But for home use, there is a greater and greater shift to wooden chairs to encase the potty. They are attractive, fun and provide a sense of security.
Imagine one called His Majesties Throne for boys, anatomically correct to avoid fountain spills and even customized with a photograph of the little darling. Hopefully, this will be a draw-card for any toddler and make potty-training a breeze. Now you have the idea.
